Information you supply to My.MU is used only to personalize your web page. We do not share nor sell your personal information. Your personal information is not disclosed unless such action is necessary to comply with the Philippine law, to protect Misamis University property, to enforce Misamis University policy or when you authorized it being the owner of the information.

Misamis University takes reasonable precautions to protect your personal information. When you submit information via My.MU, it is protected both online and offline. When personal information is required, that information is stored in a secure file on our server. This information is not accessible from the web.

Only employees who need access to the information to perform a specific task, are granted access to personal information. The server used to store personal information is kept in a secure environment.
Where Misamis University consider it necessary or appropriate for the purposes of data storage or processing or providing any service or product on our behalf to you, or implementing an academic linkage program, we may transfer your personal information to third parties within or outside the Philippines, under conditions of confidentiality and similar levels of security safeguards.
